FaradNet

Introduction & Disclaimer

Introduction

FaradNet was created to fill an information void for the circuit designers who specify and purchasers of discrete capacitors. It is also for the managers, scientists, engineers, and other interested employees within the capacitor industries, and associated vendor bases. Our focus is educational, so non-technical employees and also science and engineering students may therefore benefit.

For the sake of convenience all the various types of electrostatic, electrolytic, electrochemical (i.e., electric double-layer) capacitors and hybrid types will be referred to only as capacitors, unless otherwise noted.

Purpose

This site will become a comprehensive resource for all aspects of capacitor technology and application. (Links will be provided here as each section is created.)
