October 22, 1996: Added a preface to Electrolytic Capacitors book. Implemented e-mail links on Meetings & Seminars, News & Views, Press Releases, and Ripple Currents pages for easy submission of articles by FaradNet Guests.
October 21, 1996: The first issue of FaradNotes was e-mailed out to all Subscribers and Sponsors. A new feature, called Ripple Currents, Technology Trends within the Electrolytic Capacitor Industry was started.

October 13, 1996: Implemented the first part of an on-line Capacitor book, based on the 1938 classic "Electrolytic Capacitors" by Paul McNight Deeley. A comprehensive book on all types of capacitors will evolve from this solid foundation. Although the technical material is dated, a large part of it is still applicable to some degree. This book also serves as a historical document. The menu structure of FaradNet will be changed to accomodate the growing body of educational material.

October 8, 1996: Added 21 capacitor companies (more to follow soon). An additional 15 to 20 company addresses were updated. Several other items were added or updated over the last few days.
October 3, 1996: Added three capacitor catalogs.
October 2, 1996: Added two each company and distributors and updated others. Added one new electronics Best of Web link. Added two Meetings & Seminars items.
October 1, 1996: Added one each company, vendor, distributor and "Best of Web" link. Freshened up the "Best of Web" page formatting. Started removing excess "new" and "updated" graphics (pages too cluttered with visual cues).
September 24, 1996: Implemented Meetings & Seminars feature.
September 18-23, 1996: Updated several company, distributor & vendor addresses and added one "Best of the Web" link. Added some fields in the Guest Book regarding product and company interests.
September 14, 1996: Added several more company catalogs, now totalling 20 company catalogs (short form). Implemented a listing for pin terminals. Started to implement listings by dielectric type. Added 2 more capacitor companies and updated several more. Added 1 vendor, and 15 more capacitor distributors, resellers and representatives. Gave credit and thanks to a few individual contributors to FaradNet's success.
September 11, 1996: A News & Views feature was installed and several glossary terms were updated and added (although the whole section remains under construction, as indicated by the new "Under Construction" sign in the glossary index).
The first part of a Reference Document database was put on-line 10 September 1996.
On 09 September 1996 a Press Release formally announcing FaradNet was e-mailed to over twenty organizations, including newspapers, capacitor companies, and distributors. All e-mail addresses are now hyperlinked, so web browsers that support e-mail will open an e-mail for correctly addressed to the recipient. Added another distributor and corrected the WWW address of another distributor at their request.
September 07, 1996 direct InfoSeek support and several Korea capacitor companies and a few more distributors were added. On 05 September 1996 added new iconic ToC implemented for better organization and to accommodate planned features and to allow room for Sponsor logo's.
The first official release occurred on 30 August 1996 (close date 29 August 1996). The FaradNet domain name was active 28 August 1996. Individual page changes to reflect this were made 03 September 1996. New and updated information is currently being made several times a week. All page dates now reflect actual change date instead of an "official" weekly release date.
