An important new and unique World Wide Web site
made its debut last week. It's known as FaradNet(c)
and can be accessed at <http://www.faradnet.com>.

FaradNet(c) was created to fill an information void
for engineers, circuit designers, students, and
scientists. Its primary focus is educational. It
will become a comprehensive resource for all aspects
of discrete capacitor technology and application.
Currently showcased are electrolytic and electro-
chemical capacitors and their hybrids. Other
capacitor technologies will soon be featured.

Among the many features of the site are an indexed
contact database of capacitor manufacturers,
distributors, and raw material and service vendors
that includes hypertextual links to their respective
Web sites. Also showcased are short form catalogs of
many capacitor manufacturers and key vendors.

Educational and training features are currently under
development. These will include sections on capacitor
design and raw materials, manufacturing processes, and
applications. Frequent updates and improvements are
planned.
