NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT

Suzuki Techno U.S.A. is introducing a new product called the
Polypyrrol Electrolytic Capacitor (PPC). It is a chip type
aluminum electrolytic capacitor which uses a highly conductive,
solid organic polypyrrol electrolyte. Similar chip type aluminum
electrolytic capacitors have been under development for years,
but until recently have not been commercially available.
Compared to ordinary Tantalum capacitors, PPC is a low ESR
capacitor suitable for high frequencies, making it ideal for digital
circuits. It features excellent reliability with very stable
characteristics even at high temperatures, and it has been
miniaturized for use as a surface mounted device.

The manufacturer, Japan Carlit Company Ltd., is a chemical
manufacturer specialized in the production of specialty
chemicals for aluminum electrolytic capacitors. One of their
major products is TCNQ which is used for SANYO's "OS-CON"
capacitors. Japan Carlit has accumulated the production know-
how to successfully manufacture polypyrrol based aluminum
electrolytic capacitors for commercial use. Their technology is
covered by over 150 patents/patent applications. The demand
for this product is expected to be extremely high. They are now
in a position to supply 1-3 million units per month for the world
market.
